Meet Your Attorney


Chad Franchy grew up in Roseville, Michigan, the 2nd of 5 children. He began working in a local grocery store at the age of 14. By the age of 20 he had been promoted to department manager, his 3rd promotion in a 4 year span. Chad worked his way through college and law school. At the urging of coworkers, he also ran for and was elected as a steward.

Chad earned his undergraduate degree in Sociology from Oakland University, graduating with honors and being inducted into the Alpha Kappa Delta National Honors Society. In addition to studies and work, he tutored for multiple classes. Chad draws on this experience to not only represent his clients, but help them understand the process.

Chad graduated from Wayne State University Law School in May 2013. He pursued classes with a focus on litigation and trial preparation. From 2011 to 2012 he interned at a free legal aid clinic. In his final year he was president of the university's Mock Trial program. He is admitted to practice law in Michigan and the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

In his free time, Chad enjoys long distance running, kayaking, and working around the house. He especially enjoys any task requiring physical labor. "Keeping a few callouses on my hands reminds me who I'm working for."
